National Pet Week Poster Contest Submission Guidelines 2014

The Auxiliary to the American Veterinary Medical Association (Auxiliary to the AVMA) is pleased to announce their annual Poster Contest. The contest will be for the year 2014 and entries should center on the 2014 National Pet Week theme “Celebrate a Healthy Pet.”

The national winner will receive a $100.00 cash award. Judging will be based on originality, content and the use of the theme, “Celebrate a Healthy Pet.” Immediate or extended family members of the judge’s will not be eligible to participate.

The poster may be any size, must be colorful and the artist's original work. The poster contest is open to students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. The application form must be attached to the poster in some fashion and all pertinent information must be filled in. A .jpg file should also be submitted for reproducing the winning entry.

Submission of the poster and entry form entitles the Auxiliary to the AVMA to publish and promote the poster in their projects, promotions or publications. Entries will not be returned and become the property of the Auxiliary to the AVMA.

All entries must be accompanied with an entry form. Contestants may submit their entries via email or may send them to the Schaumburg, IL address. Please contact the Auxiliary via email at auxiliarykritters@yahoo.com or call 1.847.285.6747 for an entry form.
