2009 Winner Essay Contest - Theme was "PETS - The Spice of Life"

"PETS-The Spice of Life"

Pets are the spice of life because they help you when your life is horrid. They cheer you up if your day is going wrong. They are always happy unless they are hurt. One of my pets is named Sage. She is my mom’s dog, but we kind of share her. She is a red heeler puppy. When she is calm, I like to rub her belly. If she gets too hyper, we have to go outside. She is red like paprika! She runs around like she just ate pepper. Sage is so cute as sausage is spicy. She is the spice of my life!
